2. The F32 headlights will work with the F82, but make sure it is the pre-LCI F32/F82 headlights. The F32 LCI headlights will not work. This has been covered in a couple of threads in the F32 and F82 subforums. 3. You do NOT need the front facing camera to use the LED headlights.
The reason why i ask about the Xenon bulb if its for Low & High(BI Xenon)beam is because when i tested the high beam in the garage ( kind of dark ). Oh, the high beam level (switch in the cabin) does work when the lights are off. It flashes when i pull on the level only if the low beam is off. But i notice when i tested that way.
There’s a couple notches on a D4S Xenon bulb and once the bulb is in the socket, one of those notches should point up. If not, the bulb won’t fit on the AFS mount. I was not able to find any M3 that had my exact setup. Even the owners manual was wrong about replacing the headlight bulbs.
1) Glare. While the brightness of xenon headlights may make your driving easier, it won’t make driving easy for other drivers on the road. The brightness can cause glare to reflect in their mirrors, which will make it more difficult for them to see the road. This could cause an accident or create a road rage situation where they get upset
Unfortunately, the problem isn’t this simple. Do make sure, though, to use original equipment manufacturer (OEM) bulbs for improved visibility (thus safety) and longevity, brands like Bosch, Osram and Phillips are some of the leaders. Bigger bulb should be main beam, smaller one side light. I have leds at the bottom of the lamp but xenon bulb with lens for dipped and halogen bulb for main beam. Switch the main beam on with stalk by the steering wheel and you see which one is on. Flashing main beam should be from the xenon bulb with lens.
Yes, it is possible to put HID bulbs in projector headlights but you’ll have to use an HID Conversion Kit. Halogen-compatible areas won’t accommodate xenon HIDs. So, each projector is made to work with a specific type of bulb. You cannot expect a projector to fit or function properly by merely inserting the bulb from an outdated HID kit.
Turned headlight off, not ever having to deal with many Bi-Xenon lights because the factory bulbs last 10-12+ years, I was not even sure where to start. Found a small plastic access cover on the housing just behind the core support, but I needed to move the Windshield Washer Fluid reservoir to actually remove the cover.
I don't think the light bulbs are broken, because I can see all light bulbs are on. There is no individual cornering light in the Bi-xenon lamp assembly. On recent models, there are two methods of improving the lighting when cornering. A. Integrated curve illumination. This optimises curve illumination by the use of small motors (E1m2/E2m2) on
